I know I covered it before but nothing in there but a poll. So here’s the real one. haha.
Elsword is a free-to-play, 2.5D action MMORPG developed by the South Korean company KOG Studios. It features real-time action gameplay and includes both player vs. environment and player vs. player modes. There are several playable characters within the game, each with unique backstories and distinct abilities. While playing the game is free, some items and costumes can be purchased through in-game “Item Mall” using real currency.
Elsword features skill-based action gameplay combined with role-playing elements and community features typical of an MMORPG, such as guilds, chat, and item trading. Gameplay can be controlled using either a keyboard and mouse or a gamepad. (Source: wikipedia.org)
This game is similar to Grand Chase (developed by the same company).
What I like about this game is unlike any other MMOs I played out there, it gave me a fast-paced character movement and environment (like what we see in anime). Though alike with Grand Chase, it gives you a bit of 3D than you see on the previous one. Also it has full map system where I can traverse areas to areas. I’m not pretty much into games that only teleports me from one area to area without seeing what the whole place looks like.
Lastly, it got voice. Yes the voice! While there are other MMOs that has voiced characters, but this is one of those that amazed me with how every actions are given an appropriate voice.
All in all, I’m getting fond of Korean MMOs, that has an anime feel into it.
